After numerous reports of problems with Terra firmware version 3.7.0, DJI has released a quick update to version 3.7.3 for the all-in-one drone mapping platform.

DJI Terra v3.7.0 was released just a few weeks ago and included some new features, including an option to reduce the output resolution to make it easier to browse and edit models online. As always, the update optimised many features and occasionally fixed bugs, but many users experienced new issues after installing the May 2023 firmware.

DJI now confirms that a new firmware v3.7.3 for Terra is available for download, which should fix the problem with Windows 7 operating systems that hang when the reconstruction progress for DJI Terra v3.7.0 reaches 100%.

In addition, this patch fixes the issue of not displaying blue light results when reconstructing with the DJI Phantom 4 multispectral drone for Terra v3.7.0 and the issue of not fully displaying the Reconstruction Accuracy field in the Quality Report for DJI Terra v3.7.0.

In addition, the just-released firmware fixes the issue of reconstruction failing when a user refined the water surface in the cluster reconstruction and set the resolution to low or medium. Finally, v3.7.3 fixes the bug where the current non-expired licence was shown as unavailable when an expired licence supported more features for DJI Terra v3.7.0.

You can find the full patch notes of the new update below.
