DJI sells its Avata FPV drone in different packages, which differ significantly in terms of scope of delivery and price. We give you an overview of what you get for your money.
Those who are flirting with the purchase of the DJI Avata (Introduction) have different options to choose from. The new FPV drone is also sold in several variants. The drone is always the same, but the scope of delivery differs in the accessories included. Of course, this has a big impact on the price. The good thing is that the goggles and remote control of the older DJI FPV drone can also be used for the Avata. Owners of both devices can save a lot of money here, because DJI also sells its Avata separately.

Based on the overview, everyone can decide for themselves which box is best suited for one. Essentially, the Avata is available in a large package with the new Goggles 2 video goggles and accessories, in a slightly cheaper package with the older Goggles V2 and accessories or just the drone itself, without video goggles, without remote control and only with the most necessary accessories such as a battery, charger and spare propeller.
The single purchase of the drone is of course the cheapest, but only makes sense if you already have a Goggles V2 and an FPV remote control. Otherwise you can’t fly your Avata.
More accessories
There are also other accessories for the DJI Avata, which are available separately. The official DJI Store* offers an overview. The Fly More Kit is particularly interesting here as well. This contains two additional batteries including a multi-charger. If you buy the kit, you save money compared to buying both batteries with charger separately.

- The savings of 48€ is quite lush.
- With a maximum flight time of 18 minutes, additional batteries are practically a must-buy. Therefore, you should go straight for the Fly More Kit.
