Is the launch of the DJI Air 3 imminent?

Two tweets are doing the rounds today, hinting at a possible unveiling of the speculated DJI Air 3 in a few days. What’s behind it?

In a first tweet, which we first saw on the well-known account @DealsDrone, a package can be seen on which the date 28.06.2023 can be seen. In addition, it says several times “It is strictly forbidden to open the box before then!

A second tweet, from user @Quadro_News, shows a screenshot with an item number and the caption “DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo (DJI RC-N2)“. It is not known exactly where the screenshot came from. We have not yet received an answer to a question. The reference to a DJI RC-N2 remote control is also interesting. The previous standard model of the remote control, as used for example in the Air 2S or the Mini 3, is called RC-N1. What changes the new remote control might bring is not yet known. The screenshot also brings a Fly More Combo of the Air 3 into the discussion. Since almost every DJI model has been available in such a version so far, it should come as no surprise.

Both announcements are particularly exciting if you consider the previous rumours about the DJI Air 3. These already indicated a presentation of the DJI Air 3 in June/July of this year.

Even though these two tweets are very vague at first, they are part of the familiar pattern of series of leaks before an official presentation of DJI drones. It is therefore not unlikely that a new teaser page will be launched by DJI in the coming days announcing the official product launch.
